Jessie commenced working with Pikes & Verekers Lawyers in May 2025 as part of the local government, environmental and planning law team. Jessie holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Environment from Macquarie University, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. Jessie was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW in March 2026.

Jessie has experience acting for both Applicant’s and Councils in Class 1 development appeals and Class 4 compliance matters involving Orders under the Local Government Act in the Land and Environment Court. Jessie also has experience overseeing matters in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Jessie regularly advises on the permissibility of various developments under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act legislative scheme.

Jessie has previous experience working for the NSW Government in the transport sector. In this role Jessie gained in-house legal experience assisting in providing advice for property, planning and environment matters, and in-house planning experience contributing to overseeing the planning process for major State infrastructure developments.
