New Partner - Brian Walton

The Partners would like to announce the promotion of Brian Walton to Partnership, commencing 1 August 2020. 

Brian specialises in the resolution of building, engineering and construction disputes, having acted for project developers, engineering consultants, contractors and subcontractors, and building certifiers, in the various disputes that they encounter including litigation, arbitration, adjudication (including Security of Payment adjudications), expert determination and mediation.

Brian has also acted for a number of industry associations including the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors and the Association of Accredited Certifiers.

Brian is an analytical and strategic thinker with a talent for providing innovative and commercially astute solutions for clients. He has a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients in contentious matters in numerous Courts and Tribunals and is also experienced in the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts and the structuring and drafting of joint venture agreements to suit the particular needs of clients. 

Brian's promotion is a recognition of his dedication and skill and is very well deserved.
