Jelena commenced working with Pikes and Verekers Lawyers in September 2024 as part of the local government, environmental and planning law team. Jelena holds a Bachelor of Laws – Bachelor of Commerce Global (Management) from the University of Wollongong and will be finalising admission as a solicitor with the Supreme Court of NSW in late 2024.

Jelena has previous in-house legal experience in the renewable energy industry where she contributed to State significant projects in varying stages of the development process. Jelena has also completed an internship at the Downing Centre Court where she gained exposure to judicial and administrative systems in both criminal law and civil litigation.

Through her studies, Jelena has completed intensive academic programs in Italy, Singapore and at the University of Cambridge in England.
