Diarna is part of our Property and Commercial team. She acts on transactions involving residential and commercial property, retail and commercial leasing and Council property dealings.

Diarna is also part of our Wills and Probate practice.

During her studies, Diarna also gained valuable experience in other areas of law (commercial litigation, in-house) and completed an internship with a commercial law firm in Kuala Lumpur.

Experience

  • Acting on the sale and purchase of residential, commercial and retail property, including strata and community title.
  • Transactions involving landlords, including Councils and tenants in relation to commercial and retail leases.
  • Advising Councils in relation to all property related matters including sales, purchases, leases, deeds and acting for Councils in property transactions.
  • Acting on large-scale off-the-plan projects involving multiple stages.
  • Acting on Class 3 compulsory acquisition proceedings in the Land and Environment Court against Roads and Maritime Services in relation to the acquisition of Reserve Trust Land and the acquisition of private land for the Northern Beaches B-Line Project.
  • Acting on disputes in the Real Property List in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
  • Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and acting for executors in probate matters.
